Depart Marrakech and cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), offering spectacular mountain views. Visit the UNESCO-listed ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, a striking example of southern Moroccan architecture and a famous film set. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.”
Ouarzazate ➝ Merzouga via Dades Valley & Todra Gorges

Travel along the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, through the Rose Valley and dramatic Dades Valley. Stop to admire the towering cliffs of the Todra Gorges before reaching Merzouga. Begin a camel trek into the Sahara dunes for a breathtaking sunset. Dinner and Berber music by the campfire.
